• <H4> Company History: – The company Tecni-Sport was started in 1992 with only the Major & Tecnifibre brand of tennis and squash products being imported & distributed nationally. In those days the brand was called Major. The name Tecnifibre was only the name of the strings which were then patented worldwide and still are today. The strength of the strings name & quality  internationally, convinced the principals of Major to slowly change all the products from the Major brand  over to the current Tecnifibre brand. Currently Tecnifibre is the fastest growing tennis and squash brand in the world.
• <H4> In 1996 the factory in Cape Town spooling Perline fishing line was purchased and moved to East London. From doing very little turnover initially the Perline brand was slowly expanded by adding the Tecni-Perline premium fishing lines. From beginners, right up to and including professionals, are using Tecni-Perline fishing products. The brand is gaining in market share at the rate of over forty percent per annum and has sustained this for the last four years.
• <H4> The results can be seen in the photo below through the use of our products by our own Protea anglers.
• <H4> Today we boast fishing lines for all fishing disciplines. In 2010 we landed the national distributorship for the Fladen range of fishing equipment. This new addition has allowed Tecni-Sport to be able to offer a comprehensive fishing product range which now include rods, reels, line, accessories ( hooks and swivels etc) as well as boating necessities such as life jackets, rod holders & stainless steel parts.
• <H4> Maatskappy Geskiedenis:- Die Tecni-Sport maatskappy was in 1992 begin met net die Major & Tecnifibre tennis & muurbal produkte. Ons het dit ingevoer en nationaal versprei. Oorsprongklik was die handelsmerk  “Major” genoem. Tecnifibre was toe net die naam van die snare wat wereldwyd gepatenteer is en nog steeds tot vandag is die produk gepatenteer. Die Tecnifibre snare het wereldwyd so ‘n goeie naam gekry dat die direkteure besluit het om stadig maar seker weg te beweeg van Major en all die produkte Tecnifibre te benoem. Vandag is dit die vinnigste groeiende Tennis en muurbal handelsmerk wereldwyd.
• <H4> In 1996 het ons die fabriek wat Perline vislyn spoel, gekoop en vannaf Kaapstad na Oos Londen verskuif. Ons het oor ‘n tydperk die Tecni-Perline premium produkte bygevoeg en vandag kan ons alle tipes hengel voorsien. Van beginners tot en by professionele hengelaars gebruik Tecni-Perline visvang produkte. Ons kan spog met ‘n groeikoers van oor die veertig persent per jaar vir die afgelope vier jaar.
• <H4> Die resultate hiervan kan gesien word in die foto hieronder waar ons Protea hengelaars dit gebruik.
• <H4> In 2010 het ons die Fladen produkte begin bemark. Hierdie produkte sluit in visstokke, katrolle, vislyn, hoekke, swivels en sovoorts. Fladen sluit ook boot toebehore in soos redings baaijies, visstok houers en vlekvrye staal produkte.  Tecni-Sport kan nou spog met ‘n volledige hengel reeks.
